The grade of chrome plated weights is relatively low, usually only M1 grade is produced. Additionally, when purchasing, it is important to note that stainless steel weights are usually shipped with specialized boxes, but chrome plated weights are often not shipped in boxes. If you need to choose electroplating weights, the weight boxes need to be purchased separately.
